On Paw Patrol I had the amazing opportunity to serve as lead Compositor. I had to be less hands-on creatively, which presented a big challenge for me. Give careful consideration to the feedback I provide and try to anticipate what our creative team and supervisors will need from us. It is a very fulfilling experience to assist artists in resolving technical and creative issues. When things got tight, there were moments when all I needed to do was be a supportive and encouraging presence. This film is the culmination of all the hard work put in by the people I worked with on the project, who taught me a lot about leadership and from whom I gained a great deal of insight.
I was privileged to take the lead on numerous sequences, this one included. It was a difficult one that required a lot of teamwork.
What a team! Filled with great artists that were excellent to collaborate with and make memories with.
